User Experience Manager/Visual Designer
PNC's Global Investment Servicing boasted a robust application called "NextGen," a vehicle given to third party clients to service their mutual funds to their customers. Though GIS has a tall order of talented developers, they had never taken an application through a full front-end design, held by user experience professionals. Put simply, they liked their application just fine, they just needed it to look good, and be easy to use.
The largest challenge of the front-end aspect of the project was to design a product that was completely customizable across the brands of 30+ clients. How can we create a new and exciting design with minimal code it would take to change the look and feel to translate across each brand successfully?
Though they didn't have a full user experience team, GIS was up for the task of learning, not only to make NextGen look better, but to arm themselves to be able to take on experience design in future projects. They were quick learners. The clients were not only happy, but fully excited to deliver the product to their customers.
