National City looked to bring their customers a richer online banking experience. They noticed a big trend in Personal Finance Management sites, where people paid a monthly service fee to be able to keep track of their expenses and spending trends. National City wanted to bring this type of service right within the convenience of online banking, and automatically tie it to their customers' accounts.
Phase 2 of the site promised the ability to import accounts from other financial institutions, making National City a one-stop shop for all customers' needs. The customer feedback in testing was more positive than any other project before, empowering and informing customers to be able strengthen their financial skills.
